Description:
Flame Sensor Module is a highly sensitive infrared (IR) light sensor specifically designed to detect flame or fire sources. It is commonly used in fire-fighting robots, alarm systems, and safety applications to sense the presence of a fire by detecting light emitted in the infrared spectrum, particularly in the 760nm to 1100nm wavelength range, which is characteristic of flames.Module includes a photodiode or phototransistor tuned for flame detection, an operational amplifier or comparator circuit, and onboard indicators for visual status. It is capable of providing both analog and digital outputs, making it flexible for a wide range of fire detection systems.
Features:
-
Detects IR radiation from open flames
-
Wide detection angle and long-range sensing
-
LED indicator for flame detection status
-
Digital output — Easy to read with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.
-
Compatible with 3.3V and 5V systems
-
Adjustable sensitivity (on some versions via potentiometer)
-
Compact size — Easy to embed in safety systems or robots
